Whilst living in Melbourne, I worked as an Event Infrastructure Coordinator within the Broadcast & Media team at the Australian Open 2024. I provided in-depth coordination, operational and project support, and played a pivotal part in ensuring the seamless execution of infrastructure logistics, leading to the successful delivery of Broadcast & Media spaces and facilitating media coverage of the AO24 tournament.

After moving back to Melbourne, I undertook events work at multiple corporate events and conferences run by Sit Down, who deliver tailored sessions and networking opportunities to professionals in business. Duties included, setting-up and de-rig of each event space for every conference, maintaining aesthetic standards and presentation of spaces, checking in and greeting attendees, chaperoning sponsors, ushering patrons to correct locations, timekeeping for speakers, quickly entrusted to manage team members to help deliver event and the general attentiveness to guests needs.

During my time at Hearst UK, I primarily worked in Event Production, working across a great number of co-branded events for Harper's Bazaar, Elle, Cosmopolitan, Women's Health and Good Housekeeping. These included, but were not limited to, Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards, Good Housekeeping Live (GH’s centenary event), The Bazaar at Work Summit and Harper’s Bazaar International Women’s Day Event. I managed multiple events, including Breaking the Mould with Harper’s Bazaar and Veuve Clicquot (78% profit margin) and The Makers Project with Harper’s Bazaar and The Balvenie (76% profit margin). Alongside my events work, I was trusted with the responsibility of managing the HearstX Instagram account, posting stories and grid posts, planning content, writing captions and responding to all messages. In addition, I undertook sustainability work, which included liaising with all third party production companies in order to gain as much insight as possible to the carbon output for all events and shoots.

Following my postgraduate degree, I set-up the Solidarity Collective (SC) website. SC is a collaborative platform of progressive activism, which aims to house conversation on important topics surrounding gender, politics, equality and current affairs. Duties include: organising weekly meetings to plan timetable and content, recruiting regular contributors, producing written, graphic and video content for social media channels, writing opinion pieces for the blog, contacting prospective contributors, editing and proof-reading all contributions, responding to emails, writing policies for all aspects of SC, planning events.

Whilst working within the European Equity Portfolio Management team, I attended Client Meetings and received excellent feedback for completing a short research project which I presented to the Portfolio Managers and Research Analysts. Also performed administrative tasks such as archiving, filing, faxing and invoicing, as well as working on Reception handling client telephone calls; completed Sales data analysis in Excel. I displayed my ability to understand the dynamics of working in a team during this time and was complimented for my smart, professional and courteous manner.
