Hi there! My name's Grace and I'm a Learning and Development professional with a love of exploring and learning new things đź’ˇ With a background in tourism and a pair of itchy feet, my career has seen me working in 27 countries - leading tour groups, designing training materials and delivering training programmes. Whether on the road, in the classroom or as part of the design process, I enjoy taking complex ideas and turning them into stories that connect with people so that learning can take place in an engaging and meaningful way. I now specialise in learning experience design for virtual instructor-led training, as Head of Learning Design with The Virtual Training Team. I work closely with our Creative Director on strategy, planning and vision, as well as managing our team of wonderful Learning Experience Designers to deliver impactful learning solutions for our clients. We design and deliver training in all sorts of topics including virtual training design and delivery, wellbeing, productivity, remote and hybrid working, creativity, leadership and management, and other workplace skills. I have a particular interest in DE&I, and in how modern ways of working can support sustainable, inclusive practices. I'm always looking for new things to explore, and enjoy working in an environment that supports learning and allows for creativity, variety and growth!
