I really loved my internship at Toppits Food. I was part of a team tasked with developing seafood-based menus for seniors living in healthcare facilities, not an easy task when combined with strict budgetary constraints. I conducted the recipe research, adapted and modified recipes to meet the nutritional requirements of the seniors. I learned how to standardize recipes and calculate costing using Sysco software.
