My Co-Founder and best friend, Emily and I founded Sets when we went to a bathroom at a concert to stuff toilet paper in our ears because the music was so loud. In the bathrooms were multiple other people who were doing the same thing. We jumped at the opportunity to create a new clubbing & events culture by promoting an educational stance on partying and providing premium audio protection.

My parents have been running the same retail store in Wellington for over 20 years. One thing they sell is beads - heaps, and the unsustainable thing about retail is dead stock. These beads were so beautiful I couldn’t bear to see them go to waste, sitting unused in the back of a warehouse. So I gave these beads a new life and I started Baobei.I wanted Baobei to be sustainable and I wanted it to feel nostalgic. I want everyone wearing Baobei (colourful or plain, simple or bold) to feel like they’re honouring the most authentic version of themselves. Baobei pieces represent those that wear them; glowing, precious and fun.

THERAPY OF DANCE is a social enterprise that exists for our mental health. It started in Berlin but the community is now global. Along with the founder of T.O.D and my Co Pilot we have started classes in Auckland.

My role at Sparks Interactive begun as an internship which grew into a part-time position. I am responsible for following the client, Heart of the City's brief to create beautiful content for their web page. During this process, I plan material, create content and visit the stores themselves to photograph the featured product. I have the pleasure of photographing and writing for various clients within the Auckland city, including restaurants, retailers, shows and special events. I now focus on planning the delivery of the content as well as assist on client support tasks and website design tasks. I also conduct research for clients and propose marketing solutions for social media.

My responsibility entailed hosting customers and providing high touch service as well as providing personalized skincare/makeup expertise. At BNZ I joined the digital team to produce and strategize online content for bnz.co.nz. Creating online content required intricate collaborate with stakeholders to produce website content strategy and design fit for purpose. My team had a close relationship with the designers, UX team and various other sections of the bank. During my time, I was able to travel to Wellington to receive an IC Agile foundations course, shadow the UX researchers / observe User Testing sessions as well as work in cross-functional teams to deliver promotional campaigns.

I had the pleasure of bringing my interests of fashion, beauty, culture and lifestyle into my practical work at Remix. I contributed content towards the online webpage as well as the quarterly print magazine. I became fluent in the content management systemed used, Wordpress, and engaged in HTML for formatting and video embedment for the webpage's frontend. In this role I had the opportunity to assist in styling photoshoots for the print magazine as well as interview celebrities such as Kim Cattrall and various bands for print and online features.
