assisting students of low income families from LAUSD in a 1-on-1 laptop (computer tablet) tutoring program, tutoring math for grades K-12, setting schedules and lesson plans for the students.

Responsibilities include: assisting advisor/ mentor and colleagues, conferences preparation (campus symposium and APS in Washington D.C., 2011), organizing, collecting, coding, and entering data, designing research experiments (Master's thesis), preparing and presenting an oral thesis defense, preparing a written Master's thesis, and publishing findings of Master's thesis (publication in progress).
