CurrentResponsible for accounting operations, external financial reporting including the consolidation of multiple entities, management reporting, budget analysis, bank and external audits, income, sales and property tax.Accounting operations includes accounts payable, accounts receivable, equipment expense tracking, project cost accounting and revenue recognition, materials inventory reconciliation and costing, internal payroll and benefits administration, sales and property tax reporting.Currently manage a total staff of twenty employees.Accomplishments: Defined and implemented a standard chart of accounts for multiple profit centers in one operating company increasing comparability resulting in improved analysis of cost performance.Recommended and completed the merger of two operating companies reducing redundancy and improving the opportunity to eliminate cost.Reduced property tax at one major operating site through negotiations with assessor.Implemented a program of staff development including cross training.Improved work product by realigning staff responsibilities.
