Contracted to help strategize and develop youth sport growth. This includes but is not limited to work on youth competition restructuring, asset development for greater family and youth social media engagement, and creating tools for Affiliate and State-Based Organizations to engage and activate schools and parks districts.

CUA's Executive Director keeps the 501(c)(3) nonprofit running via: local, state, and national nonprofit compliance; creating and managing the annual budget, bidding on USA Ultimate events, maintaining relationships with field sites and visitors bureaus statewide; negotiating contracts with venues and vendors; developing social media and email communications and marketing; directing interest emails to local organizations; maintaining current and dreaming of future growth programs; maintaining equipment stock and storage thereof; communicating with and creating joint programs/partnerships between local organizations as well as offering technological and best practices efficiencies; planning key components of events; building volunteerism; and nourishing relationships with major donors.

This is the first time WFDF's World Beach Ultimate Championships have been hosted in the United States. As the Tournament Director I created the event budget, negotiated terms and conditions with the City of Huntington Beach and its various stake holders, assembled a powerful Local Organizing Committee, managed event staff, contracted vendors, designed the event schematic and large structures, created special field lines, designed event branding, established new community relationships with local Boys & Girls Clubs, and worked with the World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF) to run successful Championships. Originally planned for April 2021, I was able to keep the City and crucial stakeholders on board while navigating the COVID-19 pandemic. As with all large events, WBUC 2023 was a success due to the LOC's commitment to throwing a world class event, having each other's backs, and putting our teams and athletes first.

This is the first time USA Ultimate's Beach Nationals have been hosted on the west coast of the US. As the Tournament Director I created and managed the budget for event expenses, negotiated terms and conditions with the City of Huntington Beach and its various stake holders, assembled a powerful Local Organizing Committee, managed event staff, contracted vendors, helped recruit volunteers, established new community relationships with local Boys & Girls Clubs, and worked with USA Ultimate (USAU) staff to run successful championships.

In the second year as Tournament Director I lead our Task Force and event staff to create the event experience we had been dreaming of including roaming performers, a New Orleans style marching band, and yurt activations alongside a large party tent and beer garden. From budgeting to working with the State Beach and vendors, from coordinating videographers to revamping competition structures, LeiOut 2024 was an amazing celebration of ultimate.

As the Tournament Director for the prestigious LeiOut event, I organized an amazing team to make LAOUT's largest fundraiser supporting youth and adult ultimate growth an incredibly fun event for all 2,000+ participants. From budgeting to working with the State Beach and vendors, I lead our organizing Task Force to set up an event we were super proud of; and we adapted as quickly as we could when one of California's bomb cyclones suspended Saturday play and discrupted the eventire event's schedule. Luckily we were able to redirect our shuttle buses to the party venues early from new locations near participants and then revamp competition structures for Sunday play.

For the first time in 10 years, USA Ultimate's College National Championships return to the west coast. As the Tournament Director I created and managed the budget for event expenses, brought in funding from the local visitors bureau, negotiated terms and conditions with the venue, managed event staff, contracted vendors, helped recruit volunteers, and worked with USA Ultimate (USAU) staff to run successful championships. Of note, the COVID-19 Omicron variant surprised everyone during this event; we adapted as quickly as we could by enforcing masking in 3+ walled structures and generally testing at first signs of infection. A few teams had to drop midway through the event due to infection, but the D1 & D3 Championships both were carried through in the Men's and Women's Divisions, with ESPN filming the semifinals and championships.
