The Summerset GT New Zealand Championship offers New Zealand motorsport fans the chance to see global super brands competing against each other on New Zealand’s premier circuits.The Summerset GT NZ Championship is a combination of two world class motor race categories brought together into one race series to offer exciting motor racing involving a number of global super brands and will offer race fans the chance to see close and exciting racing in both endurance and sprint formatsThere are TWO classes in the series:A GT4 class featuring GT4 category cars like Aston Martin, McLaren, Ginetta, AMG Mercedes, and Porsche CaymanAn Open class featuring 911 GT3 Cup, Ferrari Challenge, Lamborghini Super TrofeoSeason 2024 has just been completed, and there will be another 5 round summer series at premium circuits over 5 months commencing November 2024. Major Achievements:• Increased retail sales volume for CJD by 47% and Peugeot by 9% in 2011, and CJD by 65% and Peugeot by 20% in 2012, and Peugeot by 10% and Citroen by 30% in 2013.• Negotiated and secured Citroen distribution franchise for New Zealand.• Negotiated and secured Peugeot Scooter and Peugeot Commercial franchise for New Zealand.• Introduced an Integrated Communication Strategy to enhance communication effectiveness.• Increased internal and external customer satisfaction results by 85% since 2010.• Increased profitability by 600% since 2010.

Major Achievements:• Developed the Porsche business in New Zealand from selling just 50 new Porsches in 1999, to 250 new Porsches in both 2005 and 2007, with six record sales years in a row.• Achieved one of the highest new Porsche market shares in the world.• Introduced sales order management and inventory systems.• Developed the retail dealer network premises to comply with Porsche international corporate identity guidelines and supervised the building projects.• Introduced Porsche World Roadshow concept to NZ and carried out events successfully in 2001, 2003, 2005, 2006 and 2007.• Implemented training and development programmes to develop staff, and recognition programmes to provide ongoing staff development.• Developed and implemented an Approved Used Porsche programme for New Zealand. Responsible for all sales and marketing functions for BMW and Rover Group wholesale and importation business in New Zealand working for a factory subsidiary of BMW AG in Germany.Achievements:• Reintroduction and development of the Rover, Land Rover and MG brands back into the New Zealand marketplace.• Enhancement and further development of the BMW brand to allow development of the new Group brands.• Successfully launched a number of new models into the market.• Developed new communication strategies including advertising, events, and direct marketing.
