• Full plant responsibility for 85,000 SF high tech fabrication facilities. Up to 160Ton overhead lift capacity, plate burning, assembly yard operations, and painting. Two superintendents report to me. Our shops are Ironworker shops.• Personnel, training, safety, equipment, facilities, multiple subordinate foremen and development of build plans General Foreman, Vancouver Facility• Responsibilities included, adherence to build plan and scheduling, training work force, safety compliance, shop discipline, scheduling for paint, fabrication and overseeing all trial and full assembly exercises.

• 150 men, Ironworkers, in my charge building complex bridges and other structures.• My responsibilities included, completing jobs on time and budget, facility maintenance and upkeep, scheduling work assignments, implementing new processes to facilitate difficult weldments and fab problems, and interface between project management and the production crew. The interface with QC became a vital role during this period. • We had five bays that were 400’ long, and 65’ wide each. Ten overhead cranes ranging from 10 to 30 tons ea. and a major assembly area that we used to fully assemble the bridge decks.Foreman• Crew foreman for different crews engaged all the aspects of the fabrication process. We measured fit, welded, cut, drilled, trial assembled, and final assembled after paint.• Responsibilities included dimension control, distortion control, improved weld processes, code compliance, material handling and manipulation, and crew training. Fitter / Welder. • Fit and welded with a crew of men building both light and heavy weldments, bolted structures, handled and manipulated large ticket items, and performed final assembly assignments.
