Produce Associate
CurrentI rejoined Roche Brothers in July, having previously worked there for seven years. Working here has taught me about hard work, the importance of teamwork and customer service. I have learned to use this in whatever I have done.I work daily to maintain the department’s overall quality and stock, individually and within the dept. team, while assisting customers and the e-commerce department. I help provide positive assistance and moral to team members, by guiding and teaching them about product quality, culling and rotation standards during daily routines.- Prepared and placed produce daily on green-wall case, using company standards, to maintain quality and freshness.- Inputed sanitation and temperature log data daily, based on company’s standards.- Previously placed produce dept., dry-goods, supply orders, and inputed daily produce delivery orders, when needed, using company computer’s for dept. managers.- Activated dept., price change batches for weekly/ daily price changes, when needed.- Created/ printed signs for department product displays, as needed.- Scanned the dept., product daily for shrink tally, using software in company scanner, as needed.- Daily break-down, organization and rotation of produce delivery, in department’s cooler and back-room, as needed.- Prepared and closed the department nightly, with product placement in back room cooler, using company guidelines and standards for cleanliness and efficiency.
