Managed the Decision Technology group for Canada. Developed and maintained the touch-less auto-decision solution for Canada including score cards/models for both business originations and collections.• Strategic Business Lead for the touch-less auto decision system in Canada.• Developed and implemented new automated frontend processes that removed multiple touch points per transaction and reduced decision times to minutes versus hours.• Integrated and managed international team of risk professionals supporting the Canadian large deal process, allowing for increased capacity while maintaining expected underwriting quality.• Streamlined data collection processes allowing for the development of a full suite of reporting and analytical tools enhancing capabilities and breadth of reports.• Implemented new collection model for Vendor Finance Canada, which allowed the collection team to focus on chronic slow payers which increased collector productivity by 15%.• Developed Irregular Business Practices (Fraud Awareness) training program for Canada and trained more than 300 sales and operational staff.

Manage the flow and structured credit departments, developing and approving credit policy within authority levels, development of credit staff and departmental reporting. Legal liaison for Vendor Finance Canada. Six Sigma certified. Implemented new procedures that reduced the structured credit team cycle time from 163 hours per transaction down to 22 hours. Increased deal flow capacity that reduced costs.  Developed new policies and procedures for credit report retrieval and reduced report costs by more than 50% for both flow and structured credit departments. Implemented Flow Credit underwriting guidelines that allowed for a more consistent decision process from all analysts in the Flow department and reduced cycle time by more than 1 hour. Assumed Chief Risk Officer’s (CRO) underwriting responsibilities over a 6-month period while CRO was redeployed to manage a large project. Promoted to Senior Risk Manager from Structured Manager. Role was expanded to oversee both Flow and Structured Credit teams. Assumed Ombudsmen role for the vendor business.
