Manage the flow and structured credit departments, developing and approving credit policy within authority levels, development of credit staff and departmental reporting. Legal liaison for Vendor Finance Canada. Six Sigma certified. Implemented new procedures that reduced the structured credit team cycle time from 163 hours per transaction down to 22 hours. Increased deal flow capacity that reduced costs.  Developed new policies and procedures for credit report retrieval and reduced report costs by more than 50% for both flow and structured credit departments. Implemented Flow Credit underwriting guidelines that allowed for a more consistent decision process from all analysts in the Flow department and reduced cycle time by more than 1 hour. Assumed Chief Risk Officer’s (CRO) underwriting responsibilities over a 6-month period while CRO was redeployed to manage a large project. Promoted to Senior Risk Manager from Structured Manager. Role was expanded to oversee both Flow and Structured Credit teams. Assumed Ombudsmen role for the vendor business.
