Core Responsibilities: • Accountable for implementing the Linamar Production System for two facilities according to the corporate implementation plan. LPS focuses on 5S, Standard Work Instructions, Error Proofing, Value Stream Mapping, Balance Work Flow, Kaizen Blitz, Employee Suggestion Program, TPM, OEE, Cost and Scrap Attack. • Additionally, maintained the Environmental Management System and Industrial Engineering functions.Accomplishments: • Successfully developed a strategy to accommodate a new product line uplift volume using lean and ergonomic principles within budget. Implementation included relocation of 90% of the total plants equipment and a building addition to optimize material flow. • Successfully developed and implemented an Employee Suggestion program, a 5S Program and a Scrap Attack Program to meet customer, financial and employee satisfaction targets.
