Ran all day-to-day aspects of the plant. Interviewed prospective employees, did all hiring and terminations, performed all human resource duties. Supervised production, shipping/receiving, warehousing and supervisors. Instituted a safety program and 5-S program. Created all production reports. Trained employees. Ran Panel Assembly, Fabrication, Screenprinting and Shipping/Receiving departments covering over 100 employees. Helped institute a 5-S program with "cells", and instituted a more rigid safety program. Led production meetings, established new production tracking documents. Coordinated with other department heads on daily production levels, as well on weekly, monthly and yearly production goals. Production in my departments had improved by 65% at the time of my leaving.
