I was part of the team that helped successfully launch Sun News Network in the spring of 2011. I filled many roles during my time, including Writer, Line-up Editor, Fill-in Assignment Editor and finally Senior Producer for Straight Talk with Pat Bolland. The two-hour show focused on covering politics and the Canadian economy. In this role, I managed a team of writers, chase producers, and editors, as well as decide on which topics we would cover. I am most proud of launching our Forces Friday segment, which helped celebrate and commemorate military veterans and heroic first responders.
