- Construction and Renovation of house and Apartment Jan 2016 - Present- A personal investment opportunity arose whereby an inner City area residential property would berenovated and construction of house and apartment, thus unlocking the full market value of the land andbuilding under the terms as set by the Auckland Council. Major piling and structural engineeringwork was required for the building and also future proofing for further levels if required.Responsibilities• Research with Council what building opportunity there was for the land• Engage and contract Architect• Engage and contract Structural Engineer, Geo Technical Engineer and Land Surveyors forproject.• Set Budgets and manage financial process of project to ensure that project comes withinset targets.• Installation of all modern appliances, wiring, Air Ventilation, Gas, wired for moderntechnology requirements and future proofing, water, etc• Work with Banks to assess funding options suited to project• Tender and contract negotiation for project with Construction companies• Tender out contract manage Materials installation.• Work with Council to complete Code of Compliance Certificate (CCC)Achievement:• A fully renovated building / apartment completed, maximising opportunity for the landvalue in the residential listing for the area.• Apartment now completed and ready for renting to maximise return on investment.• Code Compliance Certificate signed off.
