Responsible for the planning, management, scheduling and safe execution of all drilling operation activities for NZ drilling rigs under my control and to ensure that development plans, strategic targets, profit objectives and forecasts are safely achieved within budget.From leading the procurement management project in 2012 and commissioning MB Century's largest land based drilling rigs, I have been Drilling Operations Manager for all MBC drilling rig operations including Big Ben (Bentec Euro 450T), Rig 32 (Drillmec HH350) and Rig 16 (Skytop Brewster / KSM Double Mechanical rig) from 2012.Since joining MB Century as Operations Manager for Rig 16 , I completed six months of work-overs before joining the project management team and overseeing the commissioning of MB Century's newest acquisition - "Rig 32" (Drillmec HH350 Hydraulic Hoisting rig). After 7 months of operational management with Rig 32, I moved into project manager position for procurement and commissioning of NZ's largest land-based drilling rig - Todd Energy owned "Big Ben" (Bentec Euro 450T). Following the successful commissioning of this rig, I continued as Drilling Operations manager for all MB Century operated drilling rigs.

Singapore

Reporting to SVP Market Application, I was responsible for development and implementation of Asia Pacific strategic plans for the Composite Board business line. Through the use of my technical knowledge/experience and business intelligence, I developed key account relationships in order to increase market share and provide strategic direction to individual business units within the region.Key skills:• Strategy forecasting and planning to Executive and Regional management teams• Marketing of new technology and liaising with sales to review pricing models and price levels• Coordination of technology transfer between Europe and Asia Pacific• Product rationalisation between regional business units• Direct support to customer production lines to optimise processing and production rates• Communication at various organisation levels – from local management to Group executive management• Monthly reporting of regional sales and profitability• Provide technical support to eight business units across Asia/Pacific

Singapore

As part of the regional management team, reporting to the Market Application Manager, my role was to offer direct support to nine regional technical service teams throughout Asia Pacific. Providing assistance to customers in relation to resin and process performance issues was a key task. I was responsible for coordinating laboratory work in the development of new products and providing technical support during product testing at customer production lines. Key skills:• Presentation of new technology/products to customer management teams• Support optimisation of customer production lines through knowledge of statistical process control• Communication at various organisation levels – from plant operators to management• Supporting the development of regional strategy plans• Monthly reporting of technical projects and product renewal rates• Provide technical support to eight business units across Asia/Pacific

Working directly with one of Dynea’s largest customers, based at their Taupo site, I was responsible for providing technical support in the development of new products. I participated in process improvement projects across three production sites in NZ and Western Australia as part of the customer’s product development team.Key skills:• Trial design and implementation (including preliminary Lab work)• Project management and technical presentations• QA/QC Data analysis for product optimisation• Process optimisation of resin products used at four production units• Monthly reporting of technical projects, sales volume and product non-conformance
