Greg Reed served as Senior Vice President of Originations for Capital One Multifamily Finance (formerly known as Beech Street Capital). Based in Newport Beach, Greg was involved in the origination of multifamily and commercial real estate debt financing throughout the nation.With more than 13 years of experience financing acquisitions and refinancing existing properties nationwide he has drawn on a variety of loan programs including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, CMBS, life company, bridge and balance sheet executions. Loan structures include fixed and floating rate debt, tax-exempt bonds, affordable forwards, student housing, and credit facilities. Since 2005, he has originated $3 billion in multifamily loans.Mr. Reed opened the Newport Beach, California office in July 2011, expanding the company’s focus in the western United States. Since that time he has successfully originated more than $800 million in loans. Formerly a Vice President of origination for Deutsche Bank Berkshire Mortgage, Mr. Reed and his team placed more than $2.2 billion of debt on multifamily and commercial assets nationwide primarily through Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, CMBS and FHA programs. Mr. Reed holds a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from the University of California at Berkeley with an emphasis on Real Estate Finance and Economics.
