Provides Business Development leadership and directs the overall Navy Strategy and the capture of Strategic Navy Programs across the 10 business units within the Maritime & Combat Support Systems Group of DRS.

P&L responsibility for the electric machinery product line (~$18M per year) supporting various military and commercial applications including ship propulsion, power generation, hybrid electric drive, renewable energy, on board vehicle power and the oil and gas industry.

Responsible for program management and leadership of DRS's Hybrid Electric Drive programsLead a DDG51 Class Ship Hybrid Drive back-fit feasibility study whose success lead to a $32M contract award and resulted in the Navy planning for this modification as a future Program of Record.

Provided direct programmatic, engineering, and technical support to the Office of Naval Research in support of new technology development including concept development, program planning and management, budgeting, solicitation, proposal and technology reviews, and program oversight. Responsible for the establishment of system and prototype required capabilities, performance metrics, and test and evaluation exit criteria.
