The Entrepreneurial Campus program at UNSW hosts industry research and deep-tech commercialisation partners on campus. Our industry partners and co-located start-ups work alongside our researchers and students, giving them access to some of the the brightest minds in the country and allowing them use of UNSW's world-class research infrastructure. My team helps to bring these companies on campus, and acts as the bridge between our company cohort and the services they need to operate and grown.

I work to connect research and industry to help industry solve pivotal technical problems limiting their businesses or find gains through process improvements or new products to unlock growth. We have over 1,500 research staff at The University of Newcastle, and within my focus area of Energy, Resources, Food & Water, it's my job to understand their capability and help them find ways to contribute to both Australian and international industry growth. My role includes facilitating interactions, linking researchers with industry partners, assisting with the development of projects and proposals, linking with funding mechanisms and facilitating contracts and IP. I work with a large number of public and private stakeholders including state and federal government, industry advocacy groups and the growth centres and help to develop and communicate strategy on research and development in key fields.
