- Write and execute engineering test protocols, reports, failure investigations, notebook studies, and various other documentation procedures.- Supported Cordis’s medical devices RnD Packaging Lab via performing various package testing procedures including full transportation simulation and dye leak, package challenge, seal strength, and leak detection testing.- Increased experience and knowledge of packaging test equipment (Instron, Impulse and Hot Bar Heat Sealers, PTI and Uson Leak Detectors, ROI Optical Instrument, Magna-Mike, Sutherland Rub Tester)

- Supported 5 pharmaceutical packaging finishing lines- Organized and performed 4 line trials for new or modified packaging commodities to help determine feasibility of future implementation- Implemented 3 new packaging commodities for improvements to existing products one of which resulted in a $45K cost savings- Created, modified, and inspected over 50 Abbott packaging specifications allowing packaging commodities to be ordered, shipped, and used more readily- Lead and partook in weekly department and sustainability meetings with engineers, section managers, and department managers- Sought superior packaging solutions via communication & visits with 5+ Abbott suppliers - Supported department’s sustainability team through alternate packaging material & redesign projects
