I verify and calibrate various types of natural gas measurement flow computers. I maintain the gas meters the flow computers are associated with - positive, turbine, rotary, orifice fitting, and ultrasonic. I test and maintain various types of regulators, monitor regulators, and relief valves used for pressure reduction and control. I have planned and participated in many maintenance activities requiring coordination and communication with external and internal customers to ensure no loss of service. I maintain all records and document any procedures to ensure compliance with all regulatory laws and requirements. I have been an active participant in our flow computer upgrade program replacing old flow computers with new ones throughout the system. I also perform or assist in the initial start-up, configuration, trouble-shooting, and calibration of these installations.

Wichita, Kansas Area

I completed and participated in the duties and requirements of the operation of a federally regulated interstate natural gas pipeline. Duties included right of way vigilance, line locating, assisting in emergency and scheduled repairs, assisting in pipeline integrity procedures, and assisted in construction projects. I completed necessary documentation of all required procedures. I completed all assigned internal training and qualifications. I also worked five years in a natural gas compressor station participating in all maintenance and operation activities as well as pipeline right of way maintenance.

I assembled industrial production machinery from engineering drawings. Helped recognize design flaws and assisted in correcting problems to complete work within strict time frames. I worked as an assembly electrician on production machinery - mounting control enclosures, wiring, start-up, and troubleshooting of industrial control circuits including AC and DC circuits, motors, variable frequency drives, and PLC's. Acted as Team Leader in the electrical enclosure fabrication facility. I directed a group of employees and worked with management to schedule and ensure completion of jobs utilizing either in-house resources or external vendors. I maintained electrical parts inventory for the entire electrical group.
