After graduating Steele Canyon High School I started working at a fabrication shop where I learned how to use a welder, plasma cutter and a wide range of metal fabrication tools.January 2009 I started as a laborer at Berg Electric. On December 3, 2012 I completed my California Construction Equipment Operator/Engineer Certificate from the school of Associated General Contractors of America, San Diego chapter with 4 years and 6,000 working hours of experience. While I was at Berg Electric I worked my way to Lead Operator Foreman. I was in charge of training the new hired employees and responsible for running jobs with crews installing SDG&E underground electrical utilities (underground SDG&E vaults, primaries and secondaries). I also obtained certifications in OSHA 30, Heavy Equipment, CPR/First Aid, Crane and Rigging, Confined Space, Fall Protection, Flagger and Traffic Control and Fork Lift.As of November 2020 I am currently working at Padre Dam Municipal Water District as a Utility Worker.I love working outside and strive to learn something new everyday. I get along and learn from everyone that I work with. I have a clean driving record and my outside schedule depends on my work schedule with my ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
