As part of the Senior Leadership Team at IKF I am responsible for the Facilities Department which consists of repairs and maintenance of the building and building systems, Grounds and Security. I manage a team of skilled maintenance personnel including HVAC mechanics, Maintenance mechanics and a Facilities Coordinator. I also manage the up keep of the exterior property using a grounds contractor to maintain the property as well as snow removal. I manage the security of the complex with the help of an in house Security Supervisor and a qualified security contractor to provide 24/7 security for the community members, their families and guest as well as the employees of IKF.The building is a 7 story luxury CCRC highrise and is over .5 million square feet. It sits on a 4 acre plot that is slated for 2 more phases of construction that will triple our community. We presently house independent, assisted living and a CCU for seniors.My duties include overseeing operations, budgeting and finance, supervising, safety, write and enforce Policies and Procedures, construction and anything else needed to keep the facility running at its best.

Manage the Facilities and Logistics contract for a 1 million square foot Govt. facility including a large Data Center and a Daycare Facility as well as several lease properties located in Germantown MD. The functional areas of responsibilities are Facilities, Property Management, Transportation, Copy & Printing, Custodial oversight, Grounds oversight and Space Management.
