About Greg Smith, Cidpro

My career has included 25 years of experience in global pharmaceutical companies (Warner-Lambert, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson) and advanced infrastructure experience in higher education for Bucknell University and Moravian College. I am a Founding Member of IDPro, the professional organization for Identity & Access Management practitioners. I received my CIDPRO certification in October, 2021. I am now a Principal Solution Consultant with Radiant Logic, where I hope to bring my global enterprise experience to bear for the benefit of our new and existing customers.Prior to taking an early retirement in November, 2021, my role at Johnson & Johnson Technology was focused on Identity & Access Management, leveraging Ping Identity for single sign-on and multi-factor authentication, ID Dataweb for risk scoring of login events to apply intelligent step-up, RSA Aveksa for access governance, J&J's internal PKI, Radiant Logic FID virtual directory, and Quest One Identity Manager for directory and identity synchronization across platforms. I led the architecture, design, and overall implementation of J&J's Identity Management System (IDMS), which is used to manage Active Directory accounts and groups, Oracle Internet Directory (OID) accounts and roles, automated provisioning, and access management workflows. IDMS acts as the clearinghouse of identity information for authoritative sources throughout the enterprise. By leveraging RSA Aveksa, we had periodic scheduled and trigger-based access reviews based on J&J's SOX requirements.I have also designed, implemented, and administered Active Directory implementations for large, global companies before coming to J&J.
