With a 99% DIFOT and over all costs are within 5% of each months P&L, improve on each months operations over heads by forecasting of labor hire which improved warehouse and transport productivity and reduced month on month labor hire costs by up to 25%.➢ Develop & implement operational strategies to increase market share and also control all aspects of transport nationally and work with all customers with their major projects across all industries.➢ Constant communicate to the Directors office of all KPI, DIFOT and analysis reports daily.➢ Build new transport networks across all states from line haul through to courier providers to ensure Yusen customers are supported during peak times and achieve below line budgets by reducing costs through new sub-contractor agreements and implanting cost control lines with all state.➢ Build and update new SOP within the quality program to ensure all new staff are fully trained in all areas of the operations and pass all company Quality and audit programs including risk management, fatigue management, COR and work with internal and external share holders to ensure all process meet the IOS standers.
National Operations Manager
➢Oversee the operational & financial needs across all states business units to ensure key objectives and budgets are maintained. This was done by weekly meeting with each state operation manager to build there expected needs ether financial or operational for the following weeks. These meetings improved the base line numbers for each stats P&L, which helped the accounts department at P&L review meeting each month and improved operations in many ways, one of these was to forecast of labor hire which improved warehouse and transport productivity and reduced month on month labor hire costs by up to 25%.➢Plan, develop and maintain major projects across all sectors of the national operations ether in house or customer based. ➢Lead, direct and manage all teams consisting of 75 indirect report and 5 direct reports in the National office in Wetherill Park. These direct reports where introduced to reduce the the need for extra staff in all states which improved customer satisfaction by having direct contact with the same staff at all times. 2 National customer service staff to work with all customer’s issues, 2 Accounts staff to work on all billing and invoicing and one National Office Supervisor to plan daily activities and run the national office in my absence. ➢Review monthly P&L and work closely with each state to reduce over time cost by 100% on all non recoverable, increase revenue by ensuring all weekly and monthly billing is accurate and processed on time, eliminate any non operational costs within the warehouse & transport functions to reduce monthly spend to increase GP by 30%.➢Design, submit & negotiate all Customer and Sub-Contractor agreements in line with company terms and conditions to ensure better margin and increase gross profit. One of these agreements was for a 3 Year contract for warehouse and transport for a large international customer which increased revenue by 30% and was opened the company up in a new sector being the film industry.
