Over the last ten years, Greg Willis has successfully completed over 93% of his DUI cases for his clients without a DUI conviction. On February 18, 2019, Greg won one of the biggest DUI cases in the country when the Georgia Supreme Court ruled that the Georgia DUI laws were unconstitutional. Greg is on the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Amicus Committee for the national DUI Defense Lawyers Association. He has challenged numerous DUI cases to the United States Supreme Court. Greg successfully challenges the accuracy of the science of breath tests, blood tests, and the field sobriety evaluations. Due to his experience and knowledge of how to win DUI cases, Greg is often invited by his peers to speak at local and national legal conferences and seminars to teach other DUI lawyers how to analyze and defend DUI cases. Greg has taught at highly specialized seminars for the best DUI attorneys in the country for many years. Greg has advanced training in all aspects of DUI case investigation. Greg has successfully completed courses as a student and an instructor on NHTSA certified field sobriety evaluations. Attorney Willis has completed the Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) overview course. On numerous occasions, Greg has been named by his colleagues as a Superlawyer and received awards for this recognition. Greg is rated a perfect 10.0 by both his peers and clients on AVVO. In 2003, Greg demonstrated his dedication to his clients when he was held in contempt of court to protect his client’s rights. When his expert witness was delayed and could not attend trial, Greg refused to go forward. Greg chose to serve a four-day sentence to protect his client's rights. The client was later acquitted at trial with Greg defending him in a jury trial.
