My college education in radio production really helped me understand the industry I was writing for but through this job I gained a lot of experience in advertising, sales, hitting targets, making sales and copywriting. I would be given briefs about clients and would create scripts to fit their exact needs in terms of radio commercials. From big budgets to smaller campaigns I worked on countless scripts throughout my time with Bauer. I would work on close to 20+ briefs a week for a variety of brands and companies. I had never worked in a client facing company before and got great experience being a writer. I also worked from home for a large part of my career with Bauer which meant I had to become very self-sufficient and manage my own time well. This was fairly seamless for me and the transition to home working was easy.
