Evaluates and responds to safety, security, radiological and/or environmental issues surrounding emergency events at nuclear facilities, including emergency response readiness, exercises and drills, and event response activities. Independently plans, determines scope of and coordinates the inspection schedule.Takes the lead in resolving more complex, exceptionally difficult, generic or significant emergency preparedness issues. Prepares individual reports and coordinates team reports of inspection findings to document whether the facility is being operated safely, the licensee's management control program is effective, and regulatory requirements are being satisfied.
