Worked mostly in the Utica Shale play in Ohio.Live on rigs in the Oilfield Catch Rock samples coming up from the drill bit.Clean and prepare the rock samples for rough chemical testing and examination under a microscope.Take pictures of the samples via a microscope camera.Collect and analyze water samples from the fresh water tanks and the drilling fluid both before use and after being used.Track all information gathered from both rock and water samples in spreadsheets and a "log" that is a comprehensive picture of what has been drilled through from when drilling begins to when it ends.Familiar with MWD techniques and information.

Maintain the undergraduate Chemistry lab rooms, test safety equipment in the building, built research hardware to the plans given by Grad students and professors.
