A Mental Health Nurse since 1998, working and caring for people with mental health illnesses and challenges in acute, long-term care, and in rehabilitation settings. In 2003, Gregory achieved his BSc in Social Work and practiced providing social support to those in mental health settings. He has also worked in Pharmaceutical Sales, managing projects, sales budgets, and working with key stakeholders within the health sector across Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean. His management experience extends into leading the Rural Development Commission, a social agency in Barbados as the Director. During this time, he was able to lead several social projects including housing and infrastructural development, building roads, and providing loans and business development for residents within the rural communities. Presently I work as a Practice Educator, leading a team of Practice Educators for International Nurses.I have been pivotal in the creation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of programmes to allow IENs to transition into the UK. This work has been crucial in ensuring EDI for IENs. I am passionate about everything I do and want to do my very best to have every IEN achieve their goal of being successful Nurses in the UK. I am a believer in personal development and currently I am pursuing a Leadership Programme through the NHS Leadership Academy to enhance my leadership and management skills.
