I have worked at this job throughout my time at university, started packing boxes and making up orders. To now managing the warehouse, managing stock and container deliveries. Working during the seasonal demand each year.

I worked as a cocktail bartender after completing my university degree, to gain experience behind a bar. Working late nights and handling a fast pace environment putting the customers needs first.

I worked with Hermes for three months, while in lockdown I tried to stay positive and make the most out of any opportunity. After finishing my second year of university online, I looked for a job to keep me busy and help the local area. Hermes was perfect, I had to sort my load for the day and plan my route, keep to the delivery slots and ensure all the parcels were delivered and kept safe. The job also helped me get a better understanding of my outgoing finances and wage income, balancing how much fuel I spent and deciding if it was worth the expense.Overall I learnt a lot in a short period of time, building on some key attributes:time managementfinancial overviewlearning on the job and making decisions alone

I started working at my university's student bar, it has allowed me to work with other students on different courses. Helped me branch out and meet other students that come in as customers. Being located on Holloway Road means we open for most Arsenal FC home games, creating a completely different work environment and shows I can adapt to various situations.Working with a diverse team, dealing with many situations and coping with any problems that fall before us.

The main role of this job was to supply stock to the shop floor, operate tills and help customers where possible. After working in the role I was also given till supervisor authority allowing me to operate as a shop floor manager. When the Christmas period came, I was also part of the early team taking delivery’s and stocking the shop with new products.
