• Sole in-house real estate attorney supporting Amgen’s global real estate portfolio with assets (owned and leased real estate) throughout the United States, as well as Canada, LATAM, EMEA and APAC. • Responsible for supporting all real estate transactional activities for Amgen, e.g. acquisitions, dispositions, leases (as landlord and tenant), subleases (as sublandlord and subtenant), license and use agreements, broker agreements, easements and diligence.• Advising Amgen on land use, planning and environmental issues; and permitting.• Negotiation and documentation of construction contracts and design/engineering agreements for projects globally.

• Extensive experience representing landlords and tenants throughout the United States and internationally in the negotiation and documentation of ground and operating leases and subleases for a variety of uses including restaurant, retail and data center.• Extensive experience representing buyers and sellers in the negotiation and documentation of the purchase, sale and financing of commercial real estate, including all ancillary transaction and loan documents.• Extensive experience reviewing title reports, surveys, environmental reports, and negotiating title policies and appropriate endorsements for lender’s and owner’s policies of title insurance. • Extensive experience managing outside local counsel in jurisdictions throughout the United States in connection with multi property credit agreements, acquisitions, dispositions, and lease transactions.• Public company support for real estate companies, especially with respect to review of Forms 10-K, 10-Q and 8-K.• Represent television production companies in the negotiation and documentation of leases, location agreements, rights licensing agreements, and non disclosure agreements in jurisdictions throughout the United States and internationally.
