Nearly 34 years of direct Nuclear Utility experience, engaging in various engineering-discipline expertise related to power generation, design and testing regulations. Notable areas of proficiency: Design input and verification of quality control programs commensurate with ASME, 10CFR50 App. B, AISC, IEEE, B31.1, and General Industry Specifications. SME and/or application knowledge in the following Program Areas: ASME SXI, NEI-3-08, MRP, USNRC Regulatory Program Interface Processes, Including NDE Complex Evolutions. Specific working assignments related to 10CFR50 Part 21, 10CFR50.65, Appendix R Safe-Shutdown, ANSI 45.2.11. Develop and present business/risk management case analyses to management for safety, reliability and commercial considerations. Develop and provide technical input into Operations and Engineering Procedures based on the broad understanding of the design basis and function of SSCs installed at PWR nuclear stations. Critical Formal self-assessment and root cause evaluations, including error prevention. Detailed technical knowledge of system / component classifications, and the engineering change development process as well as the attributes for successful procurement of quality level parts. Functioned as Responsible Engineer for the safe and efficient operation of several Primary Reactor systems. Site-Engineering POC for RCPs/Seals and Motors. Interface with all Department Managers as the single point of contact for assignment areas. INPO Strength Area-Beneficial Practice recognized for the RNP-Boric Acid Program during 2017 MRV. Education: Obtained Degrees in both Management and Engineering.
