Acting as a fiduciary for the Counties, Special Districts and Cities of Colorado. It is my responsibility in insuring businesses are correctly reporting Sales Tax, Small Tax, and Withholding. I investigate tax discrepancies and work closely with businesses to resolve accounting errors. I proactively performed a statistical analysis of the most common accounting errors and was able to effectively report this to leadership by presenting the cost/benefit analysis and the potential to save the department more than $90k a year. As a result, the departmental leads are now investigating a long-term solution.

I worked closely with case managers on creation and approval of long-term home health treatment and budget plans. I was responsible for reconciliation of client information between the state’s database and case manager’s database. Initially my responsibilities were focused on the data entry and reconciliation of client information. Leadership quickly recognized my work ethic and productivity, and I was giving the additional responsibility of creating and submitting 1095b Tax forms for the health coverage reporting of more than 23,000 individuals. Additionally, during my time in this position the department made a switch from Microsoft Office to Google Suite. Early on, I made some suggestion for improvement as the team was struggling with the transition. I was recognized for having an in-depth knowledge of both systems and was charged with leading the team through the transition. We successfully implemented Google Suite within one month.

As the Senior Company Medic I managed four platoon medics in the Battalion’s largest company. My company boasted one of the highest medical readiness ratings in the Division. This directly elevated the combat readiness of the company, resulting in our appointment as the first cavalry unit in the US Army to be the Global Reaction Force. I was personally responsible for the health, well-being, medical readiness and medical training of over 200 soldiers. I directly oversaw the professional development, education and job performance of my platoon medics. I created a certified training program and implemented it within the company, enabling our combat readiness.
