The teams are judged on their presentation of the projects they have produced and the projects ability to empower people and business to improve.In summary:- I recruited and produced all marketing for the society- I took the team from three to 35 active members- Alongside my members realigned the three projects within the society- As a team we made it through the regional round and competed nationally- Left a strong and diverse team for the following years- Left documentation, structure and a clear plan for the future of the society

Rollquick is an upcycling bike business which takes old and unwanted bike parts bought above scrap value and recycles the goods into working vintage bikes. The old business model use to consist of driving to customers to sell bikes.- Assessed Business 'Rollquick' business model- Provided an alternative business model (owning a shop) which would increase profitability- Provided a cost free opportunity (Pop Up Shop sourced through the university) to test new business model- Pop Up Shop was a success and led to business using the new proposed business model- Increased bike sales by 40%- Decreased transportation and increased time to make bikesAs a result the business owner has hired an apprentice to help and is looking to further expand his business.

U+S Enterprise is a social project which involved mentoring 16-19 year olds from South Gloucestershire and Stroud College. They were from disadvantaged backgrounds and disengaged with the business course due to its lack of real world application.The project produced a 10 week workshop plan, that focused on group work to plan, pitch and implement the students business ideas. It provided start-up loans which were given out depending on the students pitch in the Dragon's Den Style presentation.4 years later, speaking to one of the students they accredited it as the reason why they had gone to university.
