My thesis is on the early period of electrification in Houston (1880-1930) and visualizing how electricity and the streetcar shaped the racial and socioeconomic geography of Houston. Other projects include developing a dynamic map of electricity prices in Texas by scraping Locational Marginal Pricing (LMP) data from ERCOT, the Texas electric grid, and cleaning Texas County Appraisal Data.

Service and consulting partnership with Austin Free-Net (AFN), a local non-profit dedicated to providing internet services and digital literacy training to all of Austin's residents.♦ Acquired content and parsed data for a digital dashboard for AFN's corporate sponsors♦ Cooperated to develop broadband awareness campaign which targets technologically under-served communities in Austin

▪ Working on electrochemical nanotechnology to improve the efficiency of batteries.• Performed comprehensive literature searches and analyses▪ Collaborated with the Advanced Energy Consortium (AEC) to develop magnetic nanotechnology to enhance subsurface energy production.

▪ Split time working with GE Aviation's FAA 14 CFR Part 145 repair station and GE Power & Water repair facility. ▪ Worked closely with a platinum electroplating chamber to determine ammonia output for assessing legality of an exhaust system▪ Conducted Environmental Health & Safety training for 500+ employees over SPCC and SWPPP regulations▪ Designed and wrote 50 page all-employee safety training manual
