Greater Seattle Area

• Promoted and built an effective Shortage/Safety culture through store, district and regional partnerships, communication and training.
• Performed analysis of shortage/safety trends and statistical data and developed strategies to address location/district specific vulnerabilities.
• Monitored compliance to Shortage/Safety programs, Macy’s Policies and Operating procedures, to reduce accidents, combat shortage and maximize profitability for 45 locations that directly impact the region and company.

• Ensured accurate physical inventory through training, follow-up and supervision; developed company adopted tagging and exposure standards for the NW region.
• Hired and retained highly experienced shortage team that developed, maintained and measured store shortage progress to drive sales and reduce loss.
• Directly responsible for identifying, developing and implementing shortage reduction strategies for the NW Region: six districts and 80 stores—utilizing the principles of the Sarbanes-Oxley.

• Supported the Young Men’s, Men’s Dress Shirts and Men’s Pants departments by accurately planning and forecasting sales, managing timely and accurate markdowns and negotiating off-price buys.
• Achieved monthly sales goals by supporting 80 store locations through Item Creation (entry/setup), Order Tracking/On-Order Management including purchase order creation, Pricing, Return to Vendor, Signing and Co-op.
• Collaborated with Marketing, Planning, Pricing, Visual and Vendors to bring new products to market.
• Established working relationship with vendors to create one of kind ads for the Seattle market in both print and radio.

Los Angeles Metropolitan Area

• Supporting the Los Angles and Eastern Washington districts by recruiting, training and supporting twenty-four independent contractors to accomplish a 49% sales increase over a six-month period.
• Negotiated selling space with clients (Costco, Fred Meyers and Safeway), product vendors and contractors to increase selling presence and achieve monthly goals.
• Developed specialized spreadsheets (adopted by region) to track sales, P&L’s, allocations and contracts, to make forecasts and accurate projections to increase sales and reduce loss.
• Established business partnerships with vendors and buyers, through weekly presentations, monitoring performance objectives and addressing concerns, to maintain and increase market share.

Bellevue, Washington, United States

• Managed stores with volumes of $7M to $10M annually, including opening flagship store in Redmond, WA.
• Supervised the hiring and training for Seattle district store associates and managers; which include 2 store managers, 6 assistant managers, 3 sales leads and over 80 associates.
• Oversaw all store operations; staffing, logistics, promotions, merchandise execution and achieving business goals.
• Collaborated with district and regional teams on strategies for store planning and visual direction, building a cohesive district support team.
