I had the honor of leading an international team of performance optimization specialists in the overall management of Intel’s annual performance assessment tools, processes and support infrastructure. I worked synergistically with senior global stakeholders to understand the business environment, set direction for current and future program enhancements, and influence fellow traveler planning and roadmaps. Following lean process standards and listening to the voices of the business, the customer and the process, a wide variety of improvements were implemented as part of the program. These improvements included communications, training, readiness preparation, rapid decision making and stakeholder alignment.

I have had the privileged opportunity of working in a variety of manufacturing related roles within Intel. These include Manufacturing Supervisor at Fab 11 in New Mexico, Team Leader of board and system assembly at the DuPont site in Washington, Operations Manager at Fab 17 in Massachusetts, Training Manager at Fab 12 in Arizona, and Embedded Staffing Manager for all Oregon Factories. These roles have encompassed my passions for people management, process optimization, program ownership and building lateral expertise.

I had the opportunity to collaborate on design with other engineering specialties and process improvement professionals in the steel and automotive industries. My role was designing and developing practical ways of measuring, monitoring and recording the physical environment, where harsh conditions would cause standard methodologies and instrumentation to fail. The data collected from these customized sensor systems was then used for process modification and improvement after rigorous statistical analysis and consultation with the customer.
