My role Builds a Better Bournemouth by contributing creative concepts and professional media production services to deliver effective marketing and communications material both on and offline.This includes responsibility for the Council’s digital asset management system, ensuring up to date content, scoping photography and video requirements, shooting photography and video to meet the Council’s needs as well as creative graphic design skills for on-line use and print production.Responsibilities include:• Pro actively contribute to the Council’s brand management, ensuring the brand guidelines andpolicy are reflected in all work undertaken.• Undertake creative design work from concept to delivery on various on and offline marketing collateral including adverts, brochures, leaflets, posters, email marketing, web, video, and social media, as commissioned by team Account Managers / business partners on behalf of clients.• Responsible for the procurement, licensing, management, cost-recovery from subscriber departments, promotion, corporate / cross-departmental use and content development of the Council’s digital asset management system.• Ensuring the Council has a library of up to date digital content available including photography, video and print material templates. Produce and deliver full content replacement programme to ensure fresh and creative images and designed templates are available to the organisation in order to keep audiences engaged.• Ensure all digital content is properly indexed, tagged, recorded and all governance is in place regarding usage permissions and expiry.• Responsible for identifying photography and video needs of the organisation, in particular for web, internal and social media use and acting as Council Photographer / Videographer to meet the organisations requirements.
