I work with HVAC, lighting, irrigation, shade control, audio/video, security, CCTV and other systems. I continue to strive for intuitive interfaces for my Clients and to build relationships with the other trades we work with.

As a Systems Designer I worked closely with the Sales staff to provide CAD drawings and engineer the systems they proposed so that nothing was overlooked. The drawings were then used by Install staff as well as Programming to bring the Client's system to life. As Programmer I worked to make the complex systems we integrated simple to use and easy to understand.

Home automation/custom integration company. Initially hired as a programmer, I was directly responsible for programming and installing automation systems. As Chief Engineer I developed interfaces for various sub systems in the home including HVAC, Security, A/V, Lighting, CCTV and Shading systems. I was responsible for researching, specifying and developing various products and services that Baumeister offered. I helped to develop processes and procedures for our business operations as well. Finally, I supervised a staff of 4 programmers and conducted on-site QC of their work which tied in with our project and process review.

Together with my Chief Engineer, planned and built a new AudioFile/Logic 3 based audio room and 7 Avid non-linear editing suites. I was once again the primary technician for facility wide audio as well as Skyview's System Administrator. I installed and expanded the network hardware and servers as well as kept all software and hardware up to date. I also served as System Administrator for the Xymox business management software.

As the facility's System Administrator I installed all network hardware and wiring as well as keeping all software/hardware updated. I served as one of the System Administrators for the Xymox business management software. I planned, supervised and wired the buildout of two new audio rooms. I was once again the primary technician for the AudioFile as well as the Logic series digital mixing consoles and received further training on these in England. Finally I was the primary technician for audio facility wide. To assist me in this role, I wrote and implemented a simple database to track audio trouble tickets.

Technical Engineer for Audio, Film and Video departments. I was the primary technician for the AudioFile hard disc recording system. As an audio and wiring technician I was also directly involved in studio buildouts when Universal was hired to build and install the audio portion of Oprah Winfrey's HARPO studios, New England Digital's Demo studio and Cerney American Creative's audio studio. I also taught an Audio Engineering Principles class for DePaul University.
