While in Poland, advised parent company on restructuring for the underperforming companies that depleted bank availability. Implemented company-wide operating metrics, reduced working capital, and increased bank availability 40%, allowing for successful divestiture of core pieces of the business. Took over as President of Europower Inc. acquired by Fluid Routing Solutions. On 11/07, the company was acquired by private equity Laurian Capital from Wanxiang (USA) Holdings. P&L managed: $150MMCoupled Products, LLC is a manufacturer and assembler of hydraulic brake, power steering assemblies, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning products. Managed seven manufacturing and assembly locations with $150MM in sales and 1,800 employees.• Defined core strategies, continued restructuring plans, secured financing needs with a PE owner, and secured alternative services away from former parent company. Removed $6MM+ annualized overhead costs by immediate right-sizing and execution of lean initiatives achieving EBIT improvement. Lowered inventory 30% during 2007 and improved cash flow. On March 1, 2008 the automotive brake business was successfully divested, reaping a noteworthy ROI, reducing the footprint of the remaining business.
