Hospitality Liaison Following my second role with HP I took a break from the recruiting world and began volunteering with Mercy Hospital. My role as a volunteer transpired into the Hospitality Liaison, role I’m in now. What I do essentially is give directions and escort patients from the hospital to their car as well as spend a little time at the front desk answering phones and working on the computer. It’s been a really nice way for me to stay engaged with people and help patient’s find their way in a VERY large medical facility. That’s what I did before COVID. Now things are quite different. I’m still giving directions but to far fewer visitors.

I did whatever was needed in the gym which was mostly cleaning equipment.

HP specializes in developing and manufacturing computing, data storage, and networking hardware, designing software and delivering services. Major product lines include personal computing devices, enterprise servers, related storage devices, as well as a diverse range of printers and other imaging products. HP markets its products to households, small to medium size businesses and enterprises both directly, via online distribution, consumer-electronics and office-supply retailers, software partners and major technology vendors.My focus with HP is to locate the passive candidates for sales & presales roles in the DC area selling to the government.

I was responsible for sourcing candidates, committing them on bill rates, walking them thru the interview stage & handling them all the way to close. Conducted 3-5 phone interviews daily. Met with every candidate prior to client interview. Worked on one of Envision’s main clients. (Emerson)  Primarily responsible for technical roles, but we did see some finance roles as well.

Recruited for technical roles in both in Mountain View, CA and Redmond, WA campuses. Responsible for finding leads and cold calling potential candidates.  Conducted 4-5 in person interviews a week. Conducted 3-5 phone interviews daily. Got 5 candidates placed. Responsible for 15-20 requisitions, primarily SDET (Software Development Engineer Test)

Responsible for sourcing, interviewing and hiring enterprise sales talent for a start up group within Apple Computer. Hired senior salespeople from the enterprise software space. Accomplishments:  Sold the opportunity against Oracle and the other ERP companies because the candidates I was talking to didn’t consider Apple a player in the enterprise space.  Responsible for selling sales people on the “culture” of Apple. Persuaded candidates on the “opportunity” for the OTE (on target earnings) stated in the plan Grew field team from 17 to 38, grew inside team from 8 to 17 and FED Enterprise team from 6 to 19

Responsible for sourcing, interviewing and managing the hiring process for the sales organizations at Mercury. Primary focus was recruiting the top enterprise sales talent throughout the United States for the direct sales, alliance groups and the inside sales teams. Managed the entire life cycle of the hiring process; from initial needs assessment through interview process, up to and including the close. Also responsible for hiring G&A, IT, US R&D and Customer Service positions.Accomplishments: Grew the field team by 47  Sold the candidates on the Mercury opportunity Grew the inside team by 38  Built a team of lead generation sales managers Hired 16 federal sales managers
