Responsible for consolidating and reporting the global financial results of 43 subsidiaries located in the Americas, APAC, and European regions. Liable for discovering mismanagement, waste and fraud while identifying areas of potential internal exposure, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring adequate controls are in place and documented. Directly accountable for $350m budget encompassing 36 Distribution Centers in the US, 8 in Canada, and 6 in Mexico. Responsibilities included: PL analysis; Cap-ex approval; Pro-Forma financial analysis; approve new business investments; produce ROI analysis; rolling forecast of top line, bottom line and cash flow; quality control procedures; full audit of all branches; cost reduction initiatives; review pipeline with executive sales manager to determine firm opportunities; apply CPI increase; PL consolidation; implement IFRS standards.Manage all finance, accounting, and various operational tasks for one of the top three global logistics firms. Accountable for the largest region in the US, with 12 direct employees located in ten branches. Direct duties include; Budgeting & forecasting for all branches and business units: Full PL analysis: Managing/Collecting a portfolio of +700 customers with a total AR of +$50m: Ensure GL is in line for month end close. Allocate overhead expenses for cost centers.
