I assisted in the execution of various research trials throughout Illinois. This includes trial implementation (i.e., planting), field scouting in varying environments throughout the plot, data collection and processing, as well as organization and analysis of that data. Data collection included taking note of different agronomic observations like crop growth stages, plant and soil temperatures, abiotic and biotic stressors, etc. A large portion of my internship was working as part of a team, including other interns and full-time employees, but I will also had the opportunity for some independent work. I assisted with data analysis and summarization by taking ownership of a research project that I will be able to share results for at the end of the internship.

I assisted with the creation of marketing emails, communicated with coworkers involved with construction projects, organized contacts, and analyzed customer engagement with marketing material.
