Continuing previous job tasks but now assisting in all units in the North Region and the Northern Region Operations Office.

I am the in person IT professional for the Tehama Glenn Unit. I am responsible assisting the unit in all areas of technology. Such as, set up and instalation of IT materials including computers, printers, scanners, etc. I am tasked with maintaining and troubleshooting network, computer and technology problems. Some of the daily tasks include reimaging computers, adding printers, troubleshooting programs and other network / technology issues. I am also charged with the creation of user accounts and coordinating the email system and user configurations with IT department headquarters. I also make adjustments to the network as needed. I provide support for the mobile equipment in company vehicles. Finally I provide any other on-site functions as needed.

I am currently the first contact administrator for exchange server, user accounts, the VOIP system, the EFax system and the parent communication section of our Student Information Site. I am also currently the secondary contact administrator for Google,Ticketing System, Mobile Device Management (MDM), email threats, our district wide application platform, and the maintenance programs. I am also recently developing my skills to take over a leadership role with our laserfiche system.

District employee in charge of three school campuses but could be sent anywhere in the district. I was tasked with maintaining and troubleshooting network, computer and technology problems. Some of the daily tasks would include reimaging computers/ Chromebooks, adding printers, troubleshooting programs, troubleshooting phones, and other network / technology issues. During the COVID pandemic, I was tasked with helping with the breakdown and later reassembly of Chromebook carts in preparation for distance learning and manning a help desk for students and parents as well as teachers.

Intervened in medical, illegal and unwanted actions when necessary; while maintaining a professional attitude. Was responsible for writing necessary reports and reporting to the necessary departments. Provided identification checks to make sure that all patrons met the necessary age limits for bars and gaming floor.

I have been tasked with assembling newly purchased machines and preparing them for delivery to customers. I also delivered and installed machines at customers locations or moved a customer's current machine to new locations. I provided remote, phone and in person support to customers experiencing issues with printing and scanning or other network /applications; both in windows and mac environments. I configured printing and scanning (both SMB and email formats; with the occasional ftp format for Mac and FileZilla) for users and new employees as needed. Also set up and programmed access points as needed for full wireless and hot-spot style networks in order for the machine to be accessible. Was charged with configuring machines/ software and maintaining both technical support reporting systems.Furthermore, I provided basic machine repairs as needed. Assisted in answering of phones and dispatching of technicians when needed. Also aided in preparing and making deliveries of supplies and parts as needed.

As an intern I was charged with working on rebuilding customer's computers and those that were purchased for clients prior to deployment. I also provided help with running network cables and setting up networks. Aided in the preparation and deployment of NAS devices and the writing of batch codes to map each individual drive. Was instructed and aided in the use of disk imaging software to mirror copy disk drives for wide office deployments. Provided tier 1 / help desk phone, remote and in person technical support.

This internship was part of my bachelor's degree program. I worked alongside the Shasta Technology Association and the Shasta EDC to help plan and manage their yearly technology fair. My job was to meet with the managers of both offices and determine what steps needed to take place and then to delegate them out to members from both groups. I was also training in the use of a Project Management Software during this process.

This internship was part of my bachelor's degree program. I worked with the Shasta EDC and the Shasta Technology Association to conduct an over the phone questionnaire to see what local businesses network upload and download speeds were. This was done to help promote a newer and faster network set up for a newly constructed industrial park. I also built a Microsoft Access client database to house information for potential clients for the area.

I worked alongside fellow students, during semester break, to restructure and upgrade the computer lab and the architect / drafting lab at my high school. We ran new CAT 6 cable in the computer lab and new CAT 5E in the drafting lab. We also set up a new punch panel and static IP addresses for both labs. After completing this we cleaned out the storage of used computers and donated any PC less than a Pentium 4 processor
