• Review driver logs for hours of service compliance.• Assign unassigned hours.• Stay current with federal regulations governing driving limits placed on drivers.• Telephone and face-to-face conversations with drivers having issues.• Perform various audits and communicate discrepancies with drivers and their fleet managers.• Communicate with various departments regarding drivers’ abilities to transport freight within the legal hours of service standards.• Ensure drivers are not violating hours of service when switching between E-log systems or paper logs.• Imputing paper logs and keeping accurate track of drivers who are doing paper logs, why and making sure they are not going over the 8 days of paper logs.• Educate new drivers on the E-log system. Educate drivers if they are making errors and why the error is occurring.• Printing logs for dot inspections, ensuring they match the date of time of inspection.
