On SabbaticalSabbatical Apr 2016 - Aug 2017I retired from HP and full-time employment to take time out and focus on a small number of core activities to better balance priorities. These included (1) spending more time with my family and travelling. (2) Running - I have run the London, Paris and Liverpool Marathons, numerous half half-marathons and 10k runs. (3) Philosophical studies in Ethics & (4) An initiative to drive greater ethical behaviour in business in the Reading/ Thames Valley area. The plan is to announce the project in the second half of the year and launch it as a socially responsible enterprise.
