With over 20 years of experience helping businesses, I began tracing my carrer path creating corporate brand identity (brands, products and services), venturing through every kind of media and naturally moving towards communication planning and marketing roles. I´m currently focused on business and product development, marketing planning, information architecture and content marketing.Over the years, I´ve learned a wide array of skills that can rarely be applied to the same organization. Thankfully, I had the chance to work with amazing clients and employers, in very different markets and niches, which allowed me to use all the colors in my palette, even if I can´t do it all at the same time or place.That experience gave me a broader view of different businesses and markets, and how they interact, providing me with the knowledge I needed to be more effective at solving complex problems. I guess sometimes, the best way to solve a problem is just take a step back, look at the big picture and think for a second (and it sure helps when you do a lot of stuff).And there's the catch: you have to take all that you know and put it out, in ways others can relate to, and make use of. That's why, if someone asked me for advice on how to brew an idea, offer a service, create a product, motivate a team or build a better organization, I would have to say it all comes down to one word: communication.I believe that only with the appropriate communication skills, culture and tools, can an organization succeed in maintaining a local, hybrid or remote operation, offering their products and services. I can't imagine my work without the amazing tools that help me but, even with the right tools, the team needs to exchange ideas outside the regular channels, have those little chats while getting some coffee, make things stick with some "social glue".Businesses are made of people, and people are social beings by nature. Most of the time, they need to interact with other people, more than with a screen, to get ideas flowing and businesses thriving.
