Highly self motivated and with a strong desire to succeed in all I do, I consistently work to develop my skill sets and expand my knowledge.In my working life I have always carved my own path. This has led to me being in the fortunate position of being able support myself and my family, whilst also providing work and creating opportunities for others. The key skill that has allowed me to achieve this is having the ability to identify and utilise the strengths of those around me, creating team environments within which individuals can thrive.I have a passion for energy efficiency in general, and within the built environment in particular. I strongly believe that fuel poverty is one of the most pressing, yet theoretically most simply addressable issues of our time. I am dedicated to making cold, uncomfortable homes a thing of the past.In my private life I am a proud father, keen allotment gardener and enthusiastic amateur sailor. I skipper my Kelt 9m yacht in races off Brighton, around the South Coast and across the Channel on most weekends of the year. I always strive to live my life in a considerate and ethical manner; I have a keen interest in environmental issues and a strong moral compass.
