An Engineering Professional with over 20 years of experience working in the Civil/Infrastructure Engineering sector. I have lived and worked in the UK, Australia and Bahrain on a variety of multi-disciplinary projects, providing Project and Design Management expertise to public, private and international clients. My key engineering design experience lies within highways, drainage, earthworks and utilities design.I chose to take a career break in 2015; during this time, I drove 15,000 km exploring the Australian outback, travelled to Amsterdam and the UK, and hiked in the Scottish Highlands. The break reached its culmination when I completed the Bibbulmun Track, a 1000 km hiking trail between Perth and Albany.I have experience in producing specifications, reports, and other project documentation (including management of drawing tender/construction issues). I have also managed small teams and would count client liaison as one of my strengths. My project management skills include programme preparation, resource management, preparation of construction cost estimates and preparation/management of fees. I have also worked with NEC/ICE forms of contract in the UK and managed quality assurance/business management systems.
